Dear reader,

Rail travel between England’s major cities is set to improve dramatically. The Reason: The British Department for Transport has ordered 122 Hitachi Super Express Trains which are due to go into service on routes in Britain from 2017. And we are part of the project! MTU is supplying more than 250 PowerPacks for the new trains with each unit delivering 700 kW. The first train recently arrived in Southampton. Read more about this and many other fascinating stories in this issue of MTU eReport.

We hope you enjoy reading our latest edition.
